Tips for Best Man Speech?

My friends wedding is coming up in January 2010, I have been asked to be best man and in addition I have to do a speech (there's no getting out of this). I am not the best public speaker (but I can handle this) so I am trying to get onto doing this speech as soon as possible. Can anyone suggest any sort of content that I could put into the Speech? I've done some google searches and watched a couple of youtube videos but I keep coming across the same stuff. I don't know the bride very well so I don't really have anything that I can say about her.
