3 Tips in Using a Best Man Sample Speech
Uncategorized October 23rd, 2009You can’t just sit there, stare at the best man speech sample, and not think of anything to say for your best man’s speech. The best man speech is not only going to be delivered by the best friend and most trusted brother of the groom but is also going to be one of the highlights of the celebration in which everyone will lay their eyes and ears on what the best man has to say about the newlyweds. If you want to avoid embarrassing yourself and at the same time avoid boring people to death during the entire 10 minutes allotted to your speech, here are some tips that you can use:
• When using a best man speech sample, always remember not to copy and paste every single word and just replace the names of the people in the sample. Try your best to come up with something uniquely yours but at the same time follows the same guidelines and format in the sample.
• Try to find a best man speech sample or samples with different tones. This is important as this will reflect not only you, as the best man, but the personality of the groom himself. If the groom is a funny person and loves a good joke, creating a speech that has a good amount of funny jokes can work in the speech. If he is the sentimental type, you can try mellowing down but keeping it interesting.
• Let other people view your work and give you advice on what to write and what to scratch out.
That’s it. Just go with it — I wish you the best of luck. You’ll do great.
